The Seas4life Foundation is making waves through support of marine conservation projects in the Western Indian Ocean.
OUR COMMITMENT
Our foundation is the main driver of what we do. We raise awareness through our safaris of our partners conservation work. We connect the traveller to the dedicated scientists and managers. We raise funds by creating one off experiences with our conservation partners, and online for specific needs raised by our conservation partnerS.
We also off-set the experiences into blue carbon projects through our partner Planet Moja - we do this as mangroves and seagrass beds need our love and support. We will be raising funds through one-off events such as Cycle4Seas and Swim4Seas. Join us in enriching our world, by joining a safari and donating to a needed cause.

HOW YOUR INVOLVEMENT HELPS
In Africa we believe in the transformative power of storytelling. We use this at Seas4life Foundation to protect and preserve our oceans. That's why we have launched the Ocean Guardian programme, aimed at empowering individuals and communities to become advocates for marine conservation through digital storytelling. Through this programme, participants learn how to effectively communicate their experiences, knowledge, and concerns about the ocean's future, using their preferred medium.

A grass-roots marine conservation organization based in Watamu, Kenya. Well known for their sea turtle conservation work, which covers sea turtle nest monitoring and protection, turtle bycatch mitigation and underwater monitoring.

This project deployed 10 ARGOS satellite tags on humpback whales to explore patterns of their movement in Kenyan waters and beyond, providing critical information for their management and protection.

Watamu Turtle Watch
Established in 1997 by Watamu residents to protect nesting sea turtles. The programme now consists of nest monitoring and protection, by-catch net release, and a specialist rehabilitation centre for sick and injured sea turtles.
